Safety First:

You should be using this switch or one like it. It makes running your "Finger Eaters" just a bit safer when mounted in an easily accessible location. I highly recommend mounting the switch where you can use your knee to stop the tool without moving your hands or the stock into harm's way.
I have added these switches to my router table and jointer making them much safer to use keeping your attention focused on controlling the stock and thus avoiding a close encounter with the "teeth" of the beast.more info

Have you ever finished a cut on your table saw and then had to figure out which piece is going to cause the least amount of damage when you let go of it to turn off the saw? This switch worked out so well I ordered two more. I have one on the router table and two on the table saw. I positioned them so that no matter where I stand I can hit one with my knee.

Nice safety feature, solid construction:

Bought two of these for tools in my shop and love them. Can now "bump off" the table saw and the router table with hip or thigh while hands are occupied with workpiece. Buy it and you won't regret it.

Rockler Safety Power Tool Switch Excellent product. I like the ease with which the tool can be turned off. It would be nice if was a magnetic switch so that the tool could not come back on if the power goes off and you forget to turn the tool off.
