Great Cordless Vac for Parrot Owner:
If you already have other Milwaukee 28-volt tools (with a battery pack and charger) this vacuum is a great addition to your collection. Pros: HEPA filter, easy to carry, good suction, good run time on a single charge. Cons: replacement filter specs/part number not documented in manual, debris compartment sometimes difficult to open. I bought this vac for quick parrot room clean-ups. Regular corded vacs really frighten my birds: the trailing cord seems to evoke their innate fear of snakes.... more info
Milwaukee cordless vacuum 28 V - wonderful - can't rate high enough:
I can't rate this high enough. It has revolutionized my vacuuming. We have a large dog that sheds which makes keeping house clean difficult. We also have a small old house (with lots of character, IMO so we love it). Small means furniture, cabinets, chairs, etc. can be a bit crowded if you try to maximize your space. Old means lots of corners with woodwork especially the baseboards that are a bit grungy where we haven't "remodeled" yet. Also, grunge accumulates a lot quicker if you don't vacuum... more info
Good Vacuum:
First, it should be obvious that this is a bare tool. The batteries/charger cost more than the unit. Therefore, it is good if you have other V28 tools. Next, somewhere someone commented that this is as powerful as a corded vac. It is not. A normal shop vac is around 1000W to 1500W, and it is unrealistic to expect this little portable guy with a 1-1/4" hose to have the same power. It just isn't as powerful. But, it has a very usable power for my intended purpose, which is to say, it has enough... more info

the Milwaukee 0780-20 28-volt vacuum does not say in any ads, that the unit does not come with a battery. You have to buy a battery for $143.00 and a charger fo $32.00, before You can use the vacuum. there should be notations as to "Batteries, not included"
