Great Tool:
I initially bought a Rigid Portable Table Saw and when it was time to move it to a job site I was frustrated by my inability to load into my van without a helper. I returned it Home Depot, unused, and purchased a 10" Dewalt portable for about the same price. The mitre guide was useless since it did not have positive stops at the usual locations. A great saw at great price:
I did not buy this on at Amazon, I got a great deal at a one of the home improvement center for under $500 with 10% coupon. I thought the direction for installing the stand wan't very clear. First few bolts were inside of the stand. So I had to re-do them. It is quiet and steady. The cuts are acurate and smooth. I am very pleased with this saw. I've been using my father in law's big contractor saw that rip-cuts to 38", but I prefer this saw after using it. I am looking into buying extensions. I take it... more info

Hi there, I'm not an expert and this is my very first table saw but you don't have to be an expert to realize how well designed this thing is. I was comparing this table saw with the dewalt DW745 and even with the considerable price difference i decided the bosch was the best option for me. Things i was looking for: - Size. Since i don't live in the US, i have to pay for the overseas shipping so packing size and weight really matters for me.

I had been looking for quite a long time to get a first table saw. Space in the garage is limited, but I wanted a nearly full size table saw with the capability of being able to move it into the house, driveway or backyard as needed for various projects.
