The Milwaukee 49-24-0280 V28 28-volt lithium-ion job site radio has rugged plastic construction, a steel handle, a blow-resistant base, and weather-proof speakers. Features include an fm radio, digital clock, NOAA weather radio, auxiliary port for CD player, 12-volt power port. It operates on 18-volt or 28-volt lithium-ion or 12- to 18-volt NI-cad batteries, or standard 110-volt outlet. A storage bag is also included, and 10-foot cord. It weighs 22 pounds and comes with a 1-year warranty.

Great radio I use it inside but it is nice to know I can take it anywhere with a battery I would recommend it to everyone.

I bought this on behalh of my boyfriend. He loves it so far. It gets a ton of stations, is durable (so far). He hasn't had it for long, but he loves it so far... no problems or dislikes as yet!

Does the job:

Great sound from radio and when I connect my Ipod to it. 14.4 volt battery pack from my drill lasted a couple weeks before needing charge (I'd say 8 hours total play nice and loud during those couple weeks). Can't beat the price here especially with free shipping. Beat the home improvement places prices for sure!

good value - inexpensive - good amp and speakers, solid, simple.:

I've got an airport express rubber-banded to it, cabled into the mini audio in.
I unplug it, move it, plug it in and it remembers its EG settings (punch thing, 3 different bass settings, fine) and mode (aux in) and volume.
rockford fosgate amp delivers, 22w each and that's a low rating, its a great portable mac client now.
