Another good reason to buy Black & Decker:
For the Homeowner it is easy to get overwhelmed by the hype and overbuy the tools you need. As the years pass and endless projects arise you want to buy the right tool for the job. I have a range of B&D tools in 14 and 18 volt flavors. My projects are relatively light and only occasional. When I need the saw, drill, or light to do the job my Black and Decker tools work well and are worth a million dollars to have. 18V Slide Style Battery Charger:
Waiting to see if this charger really can keep NiCAD style batteries from developing a "memory" from incorrect charging techniques which this charger is supposed to prevent. Get in touch w/me in a year after I have had a chance to really put it to use.
Wonderful product:
I was having such a time trying to get the weed eating done before the batteries would run down. I purchased a third battery and still could not get the entire yard finished. Then i ordered this charger and it worked so fast and I could use it at the last minute to recharge the batteries and actually get the yard finished in one session.
