The American Gardener 4.8-volt cordless grass shear with 4-inch clean-cut stainless steel blades makes trimming fast easy and is especially ideal for the grass around flower beds and light shrubbery touch ups. Using a comfortable safety thumb switch, the safety lockout feature prohibits accidental blade operation. The stainless steel blades are designed to retain their sharpness and resist corrosion, while the 4.8-volt high capacity NiCad power system provides 40 minutes of continuous cutting per charge.

Great little Grass Shear:

I received these grass shears as a Father's day gift. I've only had a chance to use them twice, but they performed flawlessly and allowed me to clean-up around the house and gardens without needing another charge.
I'm very pleased!!!

Works great:

I had an older version of this grass shear which worked fine, but had a few glitches. I am happy the current version got rid of those glitches. You can use it without having to press the buttons constantly. Also you can easily unplug it now. And the blade span is a bit wider, speeding things up.

Dang good!:

I used a B & D for years. No comparison. This was a breath of fresh air. I love it!

Gardening Review:

Good product but wish it comes with longer battery life in the initial package. Manage to use only for 45 min thou.
Able to trim normal grass but not up to some hard shroud and roots.But still a good buy and definitely look forward to other accessories that are currently available.
