Fine for connecting to machines:

This is fine for connecting to the machines directly, more than flexiable enough if you have them on wheels to move around. For the long runs from the vacuum itself, I used thin wall sewer PVC from Lowes. This is about $8 for 10' length, so half the price of the Jet hose. With smooth walls, it should be better for air flow too. The joint fittings are comparable in price, so even buying the reducer to fit the PVC to the Jet hose, I still saved a lot of money... Not bad for stationary aplications:

I selected this product on basis of price alone (don't do that!). The hose works well with my 2 1/2 HP dust collector. The problem I have with it is I'm switching it between 3 different machines. As time has gone by (6 months) the ridges have started to fatigue and the hose is 'kinking' in places. My estimation is this hose would be fine if left stationary. For a moving configuration, buy something with more flex.

Good for Straight Lines:

Not very flexible, so doesn't turn corners real well. Actually, it doesn't even want to bend much at all. I ended up throwing it all away and ordering some more Clear flexable tubing. It is GREAT!
