I'm very satisfied with this cross cut blade. It does everything I need from it. It rips fairly well if you don't cut stock too thick. Sometimes I forget and rip wood too thick. If I do this too much it seems to collect resin buildup on the sides and will cause burning if done too much. I have only myself to blame when this happens. I have 8 of these Cabinetmaker's blades, I just love them. They stay on my saws so I use them for ripping and crosscutting from veneer to solid oak, I hate to stop and change blades and I never liked the combo blades.
